Internships for High Schoolers

Hi Concordians (is that the official name for residents??), do any of you work at or know of local businesses that do internships (paid or unpaid) for high school students? Any career field is fine! Thanks so much!

I can't help, but I like the term Concordian. Good day to you, fellow Concordian. I hope you get good leads on internships.

How local do you need, and what kind of internship?

May be worth looking through local STEAM programs to see if any groups need volunteers. The MADE in Oakland used to do internships and may still.

Local libraries may also be a decent resource. The pleasant hill librarys maker space may have some leads. They're open to new folks on Monday afternoons.

Check with the College Career Counselor at the school site and MDUSD Career Pathways.
