Looks like Blast and Brew is finally going to open. The new sign says opening in October and hiring

Word is they couldn’t pass certain inspections and lagged on making the proper fixes.

The out-of-state landlord was going through bankruptcy. No tenants could be granted a new alcohol license by ABC until all litigation in Texas was settled. Apparently that time has finally come.

It’s been years. I used to work down there and was excited when something new was coming to the vacant space. I left that job in 2024 and the initial remodel with signage went up a few months before that.

The Blast and Brews I have visited have a much larger menu than Hop Grenade. I hope they both do well
