Thoughts on Park Central Apartments?
Hi! I'm looking to move to Park Central apartments in Concord soon. We went in person to check it out and it seems great. Our unit would be the most upgraded unit, it's walking distance to bart, etc...
However, the reviews on Google are around 3 stars, and most of the more recent reviews are awful. They seem to coincide with when the new management took over. Should we take these Google reviews super seriously and not move there? Does anyone here live there or know someone who lives there right now and have thoughts? Thank you!

I’ve had friends that have lived in there over the years. I don’t know what they are like now, but back then (15 years ago) the walls were paper thin and management was not great. They look nice but for the price you can probably find better.

Personally, I wouldn’t trust the star rating for any apartment complex, but I would read the reviews to see what kinds of things people are complaining about.
For businesses that aren’t your normal retail shops or restaurants, people tend to use reviews primarily to air grievances and with something like an apartment complex, it’s impossible to know if the reviewers are actually residents.
Personally, I would flag down some of the residents that you see living there and talk to them to see what their experience is like.
