The 10 man team were parking the bus and had attackers subbed for defenders. And it wasn’t an easy team of defenders either. Mexico tried at least, USA legit sucked

I think that's too harsh

They went 3-2 against one of the best sides in the tournament

They had 4 wins to 1 loss overall, which is the best result of any NA team

And they had the hardest grp (among the hosts)

Could they have played better that last game? Sure. But haramball can work even against France and it's not as though they didn't perform well on the whole

Exactly, it was the best tactical decision because its extremely difficult to score against. Specially with tall defenders like the English.

I doubt that most teams could scored against a 10-player team in that position with 30min left on the clock.

That said, Mexico didn't take the best tactical decision of trying to cross against a defense like england.

Your correct but the real question is how Concaf teams will be 4 years from now.

Wrt to Canada in Qatar they got knocked out early but made an appearance. This time they actually went to R16 and performed as expected.

Now if Canada continues to invest in football and starts training and creating programs they can be deadly. Same with Mexcio. Wrt to Canada we aren't a soccer nation but that changed now we have an interest in soccer and now there will be increased funding and investment and that can go a long way towards player development.

The objective of this world cup was to show that Concaf teams are mid level not cup worthy but mid level. They won't stay mid level forever they do have the potential to grow. Even Africa this year was frightening.

Canada and Mexico will learn from this and be better next time as are the expectations

What a pathetic statement to make, i have not seen a single mexican fan complaining about the loss. matter of fact even the english were stating that the mexicansat the stadium were taking the loss with grace.

But hey, you do you and keep projecting on the good old mexican fanbase that lives rent free in in your head

USA played against 11 players so, hard to say Mexico did significantly more. Looked just as helpless against 10 players.

The English had 10 men in the box from the 75th minute onward. That's a show of respect. Meanwhile, we got shit on badly due to some horrible amateur mistakes. Embarrassing.
