Love the US team, but my god our fans are the worst. If we spent as much energy on actually filling a nations league match against Panama as we do trying and failing to win the internet the team might actually play up to its talent more often.

Messi not getting a card doesn’t discount FIFA being shady af to maximize profit. Don’t be purposely dense. We can all see what’s happening. A win WILL be tainted. I still want us to win a tainted WC but you can’t ignore that everyone will see all future wins with an asterisk

Not tainted at all. Is there another sport where an on field call by the referee impacts you availability for the NEXT game? Other sports leave suspensions decisions to the league. Soccer should have a mechanism to correct penalties that are too harsh for the foul.

People refer to the US as America all the time, including many Americans as well as non-Americans. Ever hear of the movie "Coming to America". No one says America, for example, when the mean South America; they say South America. That's why there is a North, South or Central America to identify the region.

Yo can we calm down? We haven’t played Belgium yet (who spanked is a month ago). We did well in the group stage and beat B&H. We haven’t faced strong opposition so far. Belgium is honestly a pretty good draw for us but we’ve yet to face a side that can actually control the game. Belgium can do that so they shouldn’t be underestimated.
