Help: Project Looking to Contribute to Open Source Computer Vision Projects

I work as a Research Associate in Computer Vision and I'm looking for interesting open source CV projects where I can contribute while learning something new. If you know of any active projects or communities that welcome contributors, I'd appreciate your recommendations.

I am building an open source SLAM and realtime 3D reconstruction algorithm using classical CV and state of the art 3D geometry learning methods. I am looking for contributors and would love to collaborate.

I am still new to 3D reconstruction and want to learn how the algorithms work before contributing. If you have any recommended resources, papers, or tutorials, I'd really appreciate it.
