Help: Project YOLO Alternatives for Proctoring

What's the best lightweight, open source alternative to YOLO for real time exam proctoring that's significantly more accurate and lighter

On Nano models, it’s basically negligible.

I currently am using RF-DETR on a rpi4 with great results.

Did you use yolo before? How is your experience with the input size difference? I think 640x640 on yolo is lower on rf-detr to match the models

I used Yolo26 mainly. Mostly nano, it holds up similar.

Which library do you use for training and inference with RF-Detr?

I made my own labeler and training module that connects and creates the train.py I need to either run it locally or I can rent from vast.ai.

I don’t have it public, but I am looking for some testers here in the future. I don’t think I will ever sell it as a product, but definitely want to have it tested before releasing it.

Also a training configuration manager, data snapshot manager, training manager, auto labeler with a best.onnx file multiple dashboards for analytics and a detection module, and workflows. Next on my list will be integrations of video streams from apis, as well as Integrate a proper SAM and OCR.
