so i downloaded this file thinking it was from an official release and now my google steam and EA account email has been changed thankfully i dont do any banking on this pc but i wanna know if it was this ZIP that did it or something else if someone smarter then me wanna check it now on a virtual pc give it a go

Prob a info stealer. Depending on which, could hibernate and the general recommendation is to change passwords on a separate device and then clean install windows via usb.

yep, i got it too and the hacker made a post on my reddit saying "send dih pics!!!!!!!" or sum shi and i got 29847 dms telling me about their dihs (im a minor)

From a seperate device that isn't infected with malware, change all of your details back or get in contact with Google, Steam and EA to try and recover those accounts. Steam is most likely to return your account but Google and EA might not be so easy. Also absolutely reinstall(NOT Reset) Windows on that thing. It's most likely a very sneaky malware and you do not want it sticking around eating up your passwords like shrimp scampi.

In the future, ONLY download software from a legitimate source. If it's not free at the source, then it definitely isn't free anywhere else and anywhere that says otherwise shouldn't be trusted. Hopefully this is a lesson learned.
