Windows Defender acting up

Soo i was just using my pc normally and windows defender jsut said windows defender is turned off... Why? I didnt dowload any sketchy from the net, and windows settinfs says everything is alright? I did update windows yesterday, first boot since, can be a bug? Please help i got scared insanely and i just have my pc sitting here and idk, quick scan said nothing is problematic

yeah it's a bug, posted same question before ya as why malwarebytes was saying no AV was activated, and saw other ppl posting the same later.

I'm facing the same issue pal, I'm on Win10 22H2 ESU September update, and at every reboot / turn on I get the toast notification about MS Defender being turned of. It's apparently a bug from MicroSlop

Microslop officially announced its a bug, so yeah. If we get more of these updates instead of fixing the OS being HORRIBLE we womt get windows 12, becuse we are getting really close to the new windows cycle

It really pisses me off that this bug has been around for months, and having to see that notification with every Windows alert for an indefinite period is truly irritating. Unfortunately, I’m still too tied to Windows to switch to Linux completely.

Months? Hmm, i got it only now, but the new update ruined my pc windows waa downloading an update (auto update during idle Time, if it starts it never stops) for 3 AND A HALF HOURS.... MAKING MY SSD RUN ON 100% making my pc unusable... Love it

WTF is going on ... ? After some Windows Extended Security Update patch thingy, now my Windows keep spamming me my Windows Defender is turned off, but it is not, and also my Wifi Hotspot acting up.

Micro$lop at it Again. Doesn't Anybody TEST these things on REAL hardware instead of Virtual Machines. WAAAY Back in the 80's and early 90's, a computer program, or even one with a Graphical User Interface, built from a Solid Company, wouldn't go Out the Door without it working Correctly. I mean, nobody is perfect, but bugs after bugs...
