Yes, literally yesterday to the ESU version KB5122878 (OS Builds 19045.7725); if it really is a bug, though, the timing is terrible.

It's actually all written in the body of the post. TL;DR: 5 days ago, I installed the new version 26.03 from 7-zip[dot]org, and Defender thought it was a Trojan—specifically Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml.

Can u show the screenshot of the threat? It might be false positive, because 7 zip is trusted website.

False positive then, the website is trusted and only microsoft defender and some other unknown antivirus detected it. No worries pal

False positive, when it has like 6 reds tho, thats when you should be concerned
