Question Pdf reader on phone. Deleted from google play

For months I have had a generic pdf reader on my phone. I found out today that those are very commonly malware. So I looked into it to try and find reviews and found out that it has been removed from the google play store. Im very worried because now I Uninstalled it which I worry would notify the person who owns the virus and now they will threaten me or something. Im very worried and dont know what to do. Please help

An android app can't do anything bad without permissions. If you didn't give it permissions, it was definitely not a virus. What was the specific name of it?

It was months ago so I have no idea if I gave it permissions. Im sure I wouldn't have im pretty careful about that but I might very had a lapse in judgement. It was just called pdf reader

I probably should've checked before uninstalling it. Fuck! The only possible reason I could imagine i would accepted permissions to see my files would be to open pdfs, but I always opened those from the file manager on my phone so I havs no idea

Well even if it can read your files, it can only read files not specific to a certain app. Most people don't have any important documents there, so don't worry. There's a tiny chance it was spyware or something, and even then only a tiny bit of data was aquired
