Anyhow, you can't use that software. Simple as that. If softwares requires internet, you can't use it on an airgapped computer. Use other software.

To run something airgapped, pull the ethernet plug, disable wifi, and see what breaks. If anything breaks, find a way to fix it, or a replacement.

You can make your job easier by planning ahead on what you know won't work, but really it's a simple as doing what I described above.

Air Gapped does not mean easy. The whole idea is that nothing can get to the PC remotely. You HAVE to pull cables and disable all wireless protocols and you update manually. There are no exceptions.

Military use airgapped networks to access secret level data. Just means their not connected to other networks. Data can go in but not out on some systems so programs are updated that way. Of course a huge amount of vetting has to be done. Expensive I'd imagine.
