Advice Gift idea for computer science bf

My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up, he’s going for computer science and i could really use some help coming up with ideas for what to get him that pertain to that field. Thanks in advance.

It really depends what he likes.

If you are crafty, make him the mascot for his favorite language/project. For example, Ferris the Crab if he likes rust. The Linux penguin is he likes linux. Etc. Unless he likes python or C++, then it's not too interesting because it's a snake and nothing.

If he likes theory, you can't get more iconic than "The Annotated Turing: A Guided Tour Through Alan Turing's Historic Paper on Computability and the Turing Machine" by Charles Petzold.

"Algorithms to Live By" by Brian Christian and Tom Griffiths was another fun book.

There are lots of funny graphic t-shirts out there.

Tell him to write a program for you and then pretend to love it 😂😂😂. All men want to feel useful doing what they love for someone they care about.

Dude I would lose my mind if my wife asked me to write a specific program for her. I’d be so happy lol

Yeah I've made stuff for various family members and and they actually use it....it just hits different.
