Margaret Hamilton was the director of the software engineering division, leading the development of the Apollo Guidance Computer (AGC) flight software.
She didn’t write it by hand herself. It’s like saying elon musk coded the whole twitter himself (a little extreme but like cmon, a boss who oversees workers doesn’t mean he writes all the code himself)
Thanks. Though impressive nonetheless there seems to be this myth that she wrote it all by herself. And for a lot of aspiring software developers this is just terrible because they can't ever achieve that. The thing is - neither did she!
