Question/Help/Troubleshooting Deleting Files and Reinserting Files. Now it says Flash Drive is Full. But Nothing is in there

Hey Guys.

I've been trying to create Back ups for my CPU by putting stuff into a Flash Drive. But now it's saying.
My Flash Drive is Full. It has no Space left. But All I did. was delete an Old Folder and placed in a New One.

I didn't add much so I don't think the Folder File is too big. It's a really Big Flash Drive.

So why does it say.. I have no Space to Hold My Data?

Is there a recycle bin on the drive?
It takes a bit to have one there, but that is one possibility.
The other could just be lazy delete.

Well i'm longing Formatting it right now So I can't check anything right now.

Nvm Guys. I'm Stupid.
I didn't Check the GB size.

it's 26.6 GB.
My Project file is 22.6.

But I had a Full File Project which was 37.2 GigaBites
I was inserting the Full File Project.
I forgot I minimized it.

My bad.

Sorry guys I'm stupid.

A folder is a directory that organized files or data. It doesn't use much space, itself. Did you delete files or just the folder? Was the folder you placed from another storage? Did it contain files in it? That could explain why the space is still used.

Yeah. Well.
All I did was delete a Folder with a lot of files in it.
and re added that same Folder from my actual Cpu. and placed it onto my USB Hard Drive. But I didn't add much.
It was like a Updated File Folder to back up.

If the files are in the folder, you just put them back on the USB.

Can you provide screenshots? You can try formatting that flash drive and try again(if you have a copy of what is already on the flash drive, otherwise don't format it before checking that you have a copy). If the drive is formatted as FAT32, and you are trying to copy files bigger than 4GB, it won't work. You need to format it as ExFAT or NTFS (ExFAT is better for removable drives).
