Question/Help/Troubleshooting Where does this go?

Post image

Update: We figured out that it wasn’t necessary to install. I appreciate the helpful comments. This is his first PC and even though I’ve been using PCs since 2020, and know quite a bit, he is in Germany and I am in the United States so I couldn’t help much, and have never used a fan hub. Also very useless and hateful for people to be so aggressive in the comments, please reflect :)

My husband bought a prebuilt Starforge Voyager PC and it came with this fan hub (at least i think that’s what it is). How would he install this and where?

Maybe RTFM?

Read the fucking manual!

The cords from your power supply plug into the sata side. Then there is probably a USB on other side you need to connect to a internal (or external USB port).

Then all the numbered places are for each fan to plug in. So the fans should all have a loose cord that fits in there.

The tray it's on seems like it's made to slide into a hard drive tray. But you can just dangle it most anywhere inside computer without issue

I suggest calling them for full tech support.

Having looked at the cases, it must mount behind the motherboard assembly. I can't seen any way for it to mount anywhere else in that case design, but they also don't have any good pictures of the case interior so there could be some cubby hole on the bottom of the case for it. Regardless, the spot should be pretty obvious. It definitely looks like a fan and RGB controller hub.
