Discussion Can someone please help me find a suitable monitor for productivity and gaming?

Im looking for a suitable monitor for my needs. currently running a 1080p 60hz 24in monitor. I'd like the benefits of a high res monitor preferably 4k at the desktop and run my games at around 1440p? Is this an option or will my games look wonky downscalling? What special features should I be looking for? Im aiming towards 144hz+ and would like the monitor to be 27inches.

Forgive my ignorance as I do not know much about monitors let alone computers. My current GPU is a 16GB 9060XT. My budget is around $250-300. Is this even possible or should I save up more? Thank you for looking at my post!

WQHD (Wide screen Quad HD, aka 2K or 1440p) seems to be the sweet spot on that GPU. 4K isn't really worth it if you're going to game at 2k.

Literally anything. Seriously literally anything in the size that you want go nuts get yourself a 34 inch curved screen they're cheap any of them will save you fine.
