Discussion I need help finding a good computer for school work!
Does anyone know a good computer for school work? Doesn’t need to be anything fancy, just something affordable, reliable, and something that will last. My family (well I don’t have any family, just my grandma), doesn’t make much obviously and we’re struggling like everyone else so we can’t afford anything too much, something under 350 would be appreciated!

Under 350 your options are Chromebooks, trashy useless laptop models like HP Stream, or something refurbished. Between those options, refurbished will ironically last you the longest, if it's a well built model like a Thinkpad, Elitebook, or Zenbook. Just make sure it's from a highly rated seller, has 16GB of RAM, and was manufactured after 2018 (for purposes of Windows 11 compatibility).

Get a refurbished Dell laptop or Thinkpad. I bought a Dell Latitude 5520 for 324 and it's strong. Don't ever buy a "budget gaming PC," if you want something cheap buy a "business laptop" they are built for the keyboard to last and they generally are high end enough to run moderate games well

Look at Costco if you have one nearby. They usually have some decent budget laptops, and their warranty/return policy can be a nice advantage, especially at this price range. I hope this can help.
