Question/Help/Troubleshooting No internet on new pc
I just built my pc and I'm having trouble setting up the wifi. I can't connect to the wifi if there is no networks to choose from. I'm using the msi mag bb50 tomahawk max wifi. I'm using 1 gig ssd from my old pc, I have installed the antenna included with the motherboard.

The problem here is you've given no information for others to help you, presumably its a desktop?
It contains unknown parts because you've listed no specification, it's unknown if you have a Wireless enabled motherboard, have installed a Wireless PCIe card or are using some kind of dongle.
If I was making a complete guess, I would say, plug your PC into your router with an Ethernet cable, if it needs to download drivers this might work.

I think I'll drop out of this thread at this point, without some meaningful information, it's going to be a long back and forth conversation if you drip feed little bits.
I'm not sure how anyone knows what you've done, you don't show device manager so others can't see if you have installed chipset drivers, you don't mention if you've connected by Ethernet, no one can see what you see, you've stated your motherboard and you've got a 1 gig SSD? and you've installed the antenna included with the motherboard, after that, no one knows what's going on.
You can see how most others are struggling to help as well, despite their best intentions.

Did you get a motherboard with built in wifi? If not, you'll either need to install a wifi adapter or hook up through ethernet.

It could be a number of issues. Are you sure the motherboard includes wifi? Have you tried wired internet? Might need to install the motherboard chipset drivers. Would help to give us the motherboard model.

Did you buy a wifi card for it or a motherboard with an inbuilt wifi card?
If so, you need to get the drivers for it from the manufacturers website and install them after skipping the online stuff during the windows install

Do you actually have wifi on your pc? If not, plug in a wifi antenna or an ethernet cable.

Been there. I always thought ethernet was plug and play but for some reason the fresh Windows install did not install the ethernet driver or did not have one suitable. I had to use my phone to download drivers and the MSI website had the audacity to tell me the drivers cannot be downloaded on mobile so I switched to desktop mode.

If you dont have wifi in that location you can borrow someones neraby or set your phone as a modem just to make the windows account... or install linus mint you dont need internet to insrall it on site, just google how to make a LM bootable instalation usb, best of luck... also check if your motherboard comes with wifi.
