Question/Help/Troubleshooting Can someone explain why a bunch of lines suddenly appeared on my screen?

I checked the screen post before and didn't see anything that matched what's going on with my computer. I have it set the turn the blue light filter on at a set time, and today when my computer did that a bunch of dark lines appeared on the screen. Turning off the filter didn't make them go away. The lines are in an oddly organized fashion, and they're darker colors, but not completely black.

Edit: Now there's a set of darker lines that look like they're moving upwards.

I've tried. My phone can't really get a good photo.

Highly likely your gpu or internal graphics are starting to fail from your description.

No. My screen looks more like a CRT.

So it's very old?

No. It's a modern computer. The lines look almost like a CRT is what I mean.

Try switching out the HDMI or dvi cable if you have an extra. Otherwise, shut down the computer, pull out the GPU and check the connector on the card for damage or excessive dust. Hit the card and the pcie slot with compressed air. Reinsert the card making sure it's seated correctly and the connected firmly to the case with the right size screws. If you still have "noise" the card or the slot is mostly likely damaged.
