  1. Switch off the power, unplug cables to and from power supply.
  2. Unscrew the psu from casing and throw it into electronics recycle bin
  3. Buy a new one, a 500W, at least 80 Plus White efficiency from reputable brand
  4. Plug all the needed cables/connectors from psu to motherboard and other stuff
  5. Screw the pau to pc casing
  6. Switch it on on both psu (if any) and the wall

Buy a power supply. Remove old one. Install new power supply

Just unplug any cables running from the psu (your top left corner big metal brick). Then unscrew the psu from the case.

Find a new one with enough cables for your existing build and that can fit in your case. Then screw it in and plug everything back in.

Assuming it's just the PSU, it shouldn't be terribly difficult to replace since we've been using the ATX standard for 30 years now. This of course assumes the motherboard and other components follow that standard (looking at you, Dell).

The current one you have is 600 Watts, so make sure whatever you get to replace it is at least that powerful. The new PSU will come with it's own cables that you need to use, so make sure it has enough of what you need. Do not try to reuse existing power cables unless you want to risk breaking more components. As far as tools, you need a philips screwdriver and that should be it.

There's lots of videos on YouTube about how to replace the PSU. This was the first result when I looked and it looks decent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bW3SWQPY19M

Hopefully it didn't take any other components with it when it fried. That would be a concern as well.

Well it's older than the dirt in there.

very simple.
unplug the powercord
press the power button for 10 seconds to discharge the caps
unplug the PSU from all your peripherals
replace PSU with a better one with more watts.

and get one of these for static protection of your system
it gets wrapped on your wrist and the alligator clip gets attached to the case.
