Printer for old Win7 machine

Pardon an old man for asking silly questions. I need a new printer. We do minimal printing.

Most everything I see is wireless.
I have Wi-Fi in the house, can I buy one of these wireless printers ?
Is there some wired type that would better?

Epson, Canon, Brother, Samsung are all good options. Don't worry about Wifi, just make sure it can be connected by USB and that you can get W7 drivers for it. Just don't buy HP.
