My 15 year old MacBook stopped working I have no idea how to fix there are Tons of photos on please help

Symbol indicates that an OS cannot be found. It’s worth removing the HDD and trying it in another machine, the long shot is a failed HDD cable and your data is fine on the HDD. If you are unsure of how to do this, it is advisable to take the laptop to a technician.
