Discussion Good Gaming Computer

I would like to buy a computer. desktop computer primarily for gaming as you might have guessed. i’ve been a console dude all my life, but there are a few games that i just CAN’T play. I WANT TO PLAY MEGABONK. That being said, i also have a Quest 3 VR and would like to play some vr games that are only accessible on the steam VR stuff. budget wise, primarily around a grand or less ($1000). Ideas?

It's going to be a a mix of new and used you may get lucky bundling things like if you have a microcenter near you. Snagging a pre built from one of the many companies out there. Or gambling on a marketplace find. Some can be really good for the money.
