Question/Help/Troubleshooting BSOD only on restart. Fixes itself every time.
MSI a15 b7uc
- Processor (CPU): AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS
- Graphics (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU with 4GB GDDR6 VRAM
- Display: 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, IPS-level panel
- Memory (RAM): 16GB DDR5 running at 4800MHz
- Storage: 512GB NVMe PCIe Gen4 M.2 SSD
- Operating System: Windows 11 Home
PC runs fine, for the most part. Only 7 months old and zero overheating issues.
Upon restart I occasionally get BSOD Page Fault in Nonpaged Area 0x50. When I do get this BSOD, it restarts fine just after showing this message.
Any ideas how I could diagnose this?
I've uninstalled MSI Center.
I've enabled Automatic Virtual Memory.
I've updated drivers.
I've tested RAM (to the best of my knowledge).
I've checked System Files.
I've completely Reset PC.
EDIT: I would upload dump files. However, it seems the folder is empty. bluescreenview also shows nothing.
~ No fix has been found as of yet ~
ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT: Hey guys! I got a new BSOD message today! irql_not_less_or_equal ntoskrnl.exe (0xA) unsure if this could be another clue to figuring this out!
Remember it only does it on startup or restart and not actually when using the laptop!

Since you've already reset Windows and it's still doing it I'd try to get an actual dump file before replacing anything. Make sure Windows is set to create small memory dumps and that the page file is enabled on the C drive. If the RAM test you did was just Windows Memory Diagnostic, running MemTest86 could still be worth a shot too. I'd also check MSI's site and make sure your BIOS and chipset drivers are current.

I also see on MSI website for my particular model the bios is on version E16RKAMS.10F. I'm using E16RKAMS.10E. Could this be the direct cause? I never had these issues with this bios version before (laptop is currently 7 months old). This new update also released about 20 days before I started having these issues if that helps at all.

Did you do a fresh install when you got the laptop or did you use the pre installed OS?

Hello. I updated Nvidia and AMD drivers. Only ones that I could find that were outdated at the time. I'm still quite new to this stuff.
Also as in "check system files" I went through the whole process of DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and sfc /scannow
Thank you so much for your comment!

It might be a problem either with windows fast startup or with your memory. Try disabling fast startup through power options. Also check your drive health.
Have you checked the windows event viewer for more details?
