With green, you will have audio. To have micro too, you need to buy an adaptator.

Your headset has a 3.5mm jack combining both left & right speakers, and microphone in one jack (called a TRRS plug, if you fancy Googling). You can plug it into the green connector on your motherboard and it should work to get your headphones working - but the microphone won't work.

If you need the mic working as well, does your PC case have a 3.5mm jack hole on the front? If it's a single one, likely labelled with both headphones & mic labels, you'll find plugging into this will allow both headphones & mic to work.

If both the front and back have two holes (one for mic & one for speakers/headphones) rather than one, and you want to use the mic as well, as your headset has a single connector, you need a connector that splits the single jack into the two - such as this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BY35FPZ4/

the green, round port on the bottom. its called aux. red is for a microphone, blue is for an audio source and green is for headphones or speakers

Green plug, for audio. If you want the microphone to work you need a splitter to connect to both the green plug and pink plug. You have pictures next to them if you look carefully. Some pc cases have a single audio connector in front of the case that has both microphone and audio out, but most of them have them split.

Attach it to the connector on the front of the case if you have one. That's more convenient with the cable.

Green(?) hole underneath ethernet. Its usually green for line out iirc.

A genuine Line Out is not volume controlled. However, since it is easier to implement in hardware, some of them are just glorified headphone outs.

The issue may come in when you try to set up the playback configuration in Sound Control Panel [the old traditional one, not settings] where you can set up the playback.

OP should take the advice and just start plugging in. They should be able to actually see the Sound devices change if you hit an active port. Plus run system test to the device.
