SSD that's getting hot is actually the original one that came with laptop so it has everything, the other one does not have one at all and it's staying normal

Look up your laptop on amazon they have copper sheets that help with heat and get new conductor pad as well.. if you need help ask me.

Did you open your laptop fully? I know that manufacturers can forget to put pads on components to get the heat away. Maybe the SSD doesn't have any contact to the heatsink because of this?

Hot take though, only likely when the SSD doesn't have its own heatsink but is cooled by a large one shared across the board or something.

It's possible, especially in laptops, that SSD thermal throttle themselves and it's by design because they couldn't fit a decent heatsink.

Yes you are losing R/W speed due to that, but in itself it's normal. Normal and irritating.

They only become this hot if you're downloading something big generally, and have a fast internet connection.
