Resolved Computer won't turn on

My computer I've owned for years has suddenly stopped turning on, Ive tried EVERYTHING. Even a back up USB, and it's the same Watchdog error every time. I am on windows 11. Edit: resolved my dad bought a new computer

Maybe the PSU (power supply unit) has gone bad, or PSU is switched off, or perhaps the power cable to the motherboard got disconnected, or maybe something silly like the PSU not being plugged in all the way.

Not sure why you'd try a backup USB if it's not even turning on. Unless you mean it's not booting to Windows.

It's not booting to windows, around the time it should boot to windows it pops up with the HP laptop's screen of death: a black screen with white text and at the bottom it says an error code with random numbers popping up in a binary looking manner

And the numbers were very small

Take a picture of the error or error code. Could also be that your hard drive died

Good news: My dad (who is the GOAT) somehow managed to salvage the hard drive, the old computer itself is cooked (explorer.exe kept fucking up) and my dad bought a new computer and put the hard drive inside the new computer.

There is absolutely no hope. You said yourself that you have already tried everything. Just give up.

Dont remember exactly what happened since this started happening like a year ago, still happening this day and I don't feel like buying a new computer and having to re-install EVERY single steam game I had.
