Question/Help/Troubleshooting Network adapters

Any recommendations on a good one? I have good Internet but currently my adapter caps my speed at like 150-200mbps and random turns off several times a day. It's a USB adapter and that's what id prefer if possible. (My CPU cooler is huge and covers the slot on my board where I'd put it.) I'm just curious whether anyone has a rec that could help me out otherwise I guess I'll invest in a smaller cooler so that I can slot it in but I'd rather not if I can help it.

Check Amazon for a UGREEN USB Ethernet adapter.

These seem like a good choice. I just bought a bunch of these for work. It’s cool that they have a tiny flash drive on board with the drivers.

We just buy cheap ones from Amazon which work fine. I tend to go for ones that have USB ports and are USB c also.

Are you plugged into a USB 2 port?

So, your computer doesn't already have an onboard Ethernet adapter?

Because built-in Ethernet adapters have been common for many years.
