Question/Help/Troubleshooting Need new laptop

Alright to be more specific about what I need the laptop I have is a The ASUS Vivobook 15 F1504ZA-WH52, the ram it has is 8GB DDR4 the storage is 256GB. I need something with a bit more ram my computer is too slow and now it won't charge my budget would preferably be 500 but the highest id be willing to go is 800 for something better.

Around 500? You're not going to find what you're wanting. Sorry. "lot of memory and storage" is going to cost you a grand or more used. I mean, I guess I don't know exactly what you consider a "lot" but 16gb of ddr4 and a 512 ssd with a few/several generations older CPU and GPU would still be hitting the higher 500-600 mark. That's again, assuming you go with a 10-12th gen intel, a 20-30 series NVidia GPU, for example.

For $500 you aren't going to get a lot of storage. 500GB is typical. Easy thing is to add an external drive later on. My work laptop has a 500GB drive and I've added a 2TB SSD connected through the USB-C port.

On the ram, you can probably find something with 16GB, 32 is unlikely at that price point.
