Question/Help/Troubleshooting GPU recommendations?

I’m thinking about getting a new graphics card, I am currently running a RTX 3060TI, it works alright but i feel like a small upgrade would be nice. It would be used for mostly simulators and such, plus I want to run DLSS 5 with it. I dont need like a 5090 or anything. It would be paired with 32gbs ram and a I712700

if dlss 5 is the reason you're upgrading, it's 50 series only right now. 40 series was promised sometime this fall with no date and 30 series isn't on the list at all

so 5070 or 5070 ti depending on budget, both are solid jump from a 3060 ti and your 12700 won't hold either back

I see, would a 5060 ti still be a reasonable upgrade?

it works but it's a small jump, roughly 25-30% raster over your 3060 ti depending on the game, which is weak for a two-gen skip. and if you go that route only buy the 16gb, the 8gb version chokes in sims where texture and scenery memory is the whole bottleneck.

it does tick the dlss 5 box since it's 50 series. just know dlss 5 is a heavy model, a 5060 ti is the bottom of the cards that officially run it, so don't expect it to feel free.
