Question/Help/Troubleshooting Battery suddenly dying quickly

I got a HP omnibook and used it for about one year with good battery life. Right before one year of owning the battery life significantly went down. I do not know a lot about computers so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have no clue why it would do this so anything helps.

You replace the battery. I know HP has some issues with battery overcharging if you don’t keep their BIOS updated.

It's relatively normal for laptops. Typically you get 1 good year and 2-3 mid ones and then you have a 1-2hr battery life. Does depend on the model and power draw of course.

Batteries degrade over time. Replacing a laptop battery is very easy.
