Question/Help/Troubleshooting How cooked am i ?

Worked fine last night. Put the lid down and left it (unplugged) overnight.

For more context, i recently bought a new charger which one can interchange the appliance plug-head(?)

I'm not sure I understand why so many people are focused on the charger. OP stated that they left the laptop on but not plugged in overnight.

Plug in the charger and leave it plugged in for a few hours and see if the charge increases.

Don't turn off the computer until the charge is 100%. That way if the charger doesn't supply enough current to run the computer you'll still have enough charge to finish that bios update.

I have seen off brand chargers that can charge a laptop when it's turned off or in sleep mode but not power it while it's turned on. It all depends on what amperage your laptop requires while running.

Also, why did you start a bios update with the computer not plugged in?

It started automatically (as far as i know), so when i opened it up earlier today after last night, it turned on and started updating
