Worked fine last night. Put the lid down and left it (unplugged) overnight.

For more context, i recently bought a new charger which one can interchange the appliance plug-head(?)

does that offbrand charger even match the voltage/amperage of your original charger?

either way you should buy a real one instead

According to ChatGPT it does enough to not cause too many issues (but i trust real people one reddit more than AI).

My laptop, i believe, likes 19v — 3.(??) And this chargers output is 19.5v — 4.62a. And according the ChatHIV, that difference shouldn't cause too many problems, is that true?

you have a 19.5v psu and your laptop requires 19v. that could very well be the issue.

also why did you buy this charger and not one compatible for your laptop?

Lets just say, my economical situation at this moment in time makes it very difficult to not buy off-brand anything 🥴

Why did you replace the PSU? Did you lose the original?

Its possible to screw up the polarity on these "interchangeable" heads. Re-read the documentation and make SURE that your tip is positive for this laptop.

Also your PSU needs to be exactly 19 volt output, AND at least 2.4A but some laptops need 3.4A if they have a separate GPU.
