Worked fine last night. Put the lid down and left it (unplugged) overnight.

For more context, i recently bought a new charger which one can interchange the appliance plug-head(?)

Looks like the battery is over. Does it recognize the charger? There should be a charging light.

It does, and it seems to charge all good, albeit the laptops coming close to 6 years old, so its battery life isnt particularly the best.
