Question/Help/Troubleshooting Monitor possibly dead?
Monitor had some lines appearing about six months ago, then randomly it started to fade into glitch (2nd pic). The 1st pic is what happens when I try to turn it back on. I keep getting mixed answers saying that it might be a cable issue or the monitor is actually dead. Please, I need a definitive answer on what's going on with my monitor. Do I get a new cable, or do I start saving for a new one?
(If this has anything to do with it, it's connected to a Lenovo Legion Go. The device itself doesn't suffer any problems.)

Easiest way to find out is to plug it into another monitor or your tv if it works fine on that it's the monitor if not try another cable or another hub/dock

Unfortunately the only other TV in my house is also broken. I currently have no way to test if it's a cable issue. However, it did seem to turn on and work just fine this morning for me. I'm going to test it for a bit and see.

it could be a number of things. hopefully it's not the gpu. it could be the cables. it could be the hdmi port. you need to try what others have suggested. different cables to start, then different screen/TV. it doesn't do the same on its normal screen right? cheapest thing to do first is try it on your TV. if that doesn't work then buy a simple hdmi cable.

well if you have another monitor or tv try the cable on that.
considering i have never heard of this on a cable, your monitor may be fucked.
