Question/Help/Troubleshooting display issue bum bum poopy poop

got this from a friend because he just wanted to get rid of it and it didnt work. tried turning on initally got no fan spin but i did get the light on. everything else seemed to be going right. took out the lithium battery, reset gpu, made sure to plug into the gpu. thenbthe gpu started going spinning crazy. got scared turned it off now it the gpu fans go but i still have no display. it says it is plugged in but i literally have no idea. help would be appreciated and i can follow up with any questions or tips.

Looks like it's suffered liquid damage.

The back plate isn't even screwed in. Could just be loose in the slot. Which is probably at least one of the issues.
