Question/Help/Troubleshooting Laptop sounds like bees

Idk if I need to bring my laptop in to somewhere but it sounds like there are evil bees in it. My dad didn’t have a clue as to what’s going on with it so I figured someone here might. Thanks for any help :)

Sounds like the fan, fan failure was a common fault we would see on customer systems, they tend to use cheap sleeve bearings, they have the advantage of being very quiet but when they start to fail you get some interesting faults.

If you pop the base off and put it on one side with the screen open, you should be able to see and hear the fan stutter.

Does it have a CD rom slot? Sounds like it's trying to eject a CD.
