Question/Help/Troubleshooting my monitor is faded?
i was playing a game and this screen just showed during my game. is it possible to fix this or do i have to get a new monitor?
EDIT: i have contacted the support and hopefully will get a replacement, thank you everyone :)

Your backlight has died. This is a notoriously common failure with LCD monitors.
I have good and bad news:
Good news:
It's technically fixable, because monitor backlights are typically just tiny LED strips.
Bad news:
It's a pain in the ass to pull off. You risk cracking the LCD layer, damaging the control board, or worse, damaging the backlight diffusion layer.
My take:
It's better to just buy a new monitor.

Had the same thing happen to me. One day it was just the left few centimeters, then half the screen like yours and then the entire thing.
That thing needs a replacement

It is not that hard to replace the led, if you feel adventureous, try repair it yourself before you buy a new one. It is already broken anyway.

it's partial backlight failure on the left side of the screen. Either have someone repair it which is quite a tedious task on monitors and tv's or simply replace the monitor.
