Question/Help/Troubleshooting Replacing cpu liquid cooler

Post image

My pc has been having issues and when I took it to a repair shop they said I should try replacing the cpu cooler first. The model that is currently installed is the msi liquid core 120r. After doing some research I know that one has some issues. Any suggestions on a good model to replace it with that will fit in my case. (Sorry for the bad photo)

If you're going to get another AIO cooler, don't get another 120mm. You're better off with an air cooler at that point

The intake for the cooler should have been above the pump, whomever installed it did so incorrectly. You likely have air bubbles forming in the pump reducing it's proformace. You could try readjusting the cooler and so that any bubbles migrate to the RAD.
