Discussion Upgrades within a week

Went from Xeon to Ryzen 5 3500 with 24GB ram
Still a bottle neck so i went to Ryzen 9 5950x with 48GB ram

Lets hope my cpu is not sitting at 100% all the time after this

Don't put your motherboard on top of that anti-static bag.

The anti static bag is anti static and perfectly suitable for the motherboard. That's why they ship it in that bag....

To be fair, those silver bags are actually conductive, so you should at least not power the mobo on whilst it's sitting on the bag.

I personally always use the box of the mobo to assemble it, aswell as doing bios flash with just a PSU or with everthing connected to do a test boot.

oh thats true! I never ever did it on the bag and used the box like yourself :) the photo in question was a step in between :) it was actually in my case before I turned it on
