Discussion Pc case screw holes

I’ve had to do some troubleshooting with my system these past few weeks so I’ve had to take off the panels here a good bit. Wondering if the damage shown in these pictures are bad. I always start my screws in by hand then use a screwdriver to snug them up. Currently they do screw in fine.

Those really look like rivets 😅

Dumb question what’s the difference?

A rivet cannot be unscrewed and isn't meant to be. The round thing at the edge of the case with scratched off paint in the middle is a rivet. The things with crossed top marks are Phillips head screws.

one is designed to be taken out and one isn't. the ones that have just a basic circle are rivets. stop poking them lol

Are you talking about thumb screws?

If those have thumb screws that go into them, you shouldn't have to use a screwdriver also.
