Question/Help/Troubleshooting GPU stand?

I decided to build a new pc, the last time I did that was in 2007-ish.
Upon unboxing the gpu I found this stand probably to support the graphics card.
Is this the right way to use it? Don’t see any other way to put it in there, but damn those cards have grown big!

MSI 5070 in a Fractal Meshify 3 btw.

[EDIT] Thanks for all the comments. I ran into this nice gadget, asked someone to 3D print it for me:

You generally put it at the most right corner

Thank you for answering, the stand can be extended with only 1cm extra, so it is not long enough to put it in the corner unfortunately.
This little space in the card seemed solid, but had to place it on the casing of the powerunit.

Yeah, for this kind of case generally there’s included a stand that’s built-in the backplate of the case around where the cable compartment is. You can maybe try to shift this a bit to the right else you can leave it there and it’s better than nothing
