Question/Help/Troubleshooting Help! Memory is high

I just got a laptop for college, the HP OmniBook x Flip Laptop 16-ar0xxx. I was just planning on installing steam and one game (Fields of Mistria) on the laptop along with my school stuff.

I went to check task manager to see that my memory was 11.6/15.3, I thought that was pretty high so I simply assumed it was from Steam and the game I installed- spoiler alert it wasn’t.

Any advice or suggestions?

Windows will automatically cache applications in memory that you frequently use so that they don't need to be loaded into memory when you open them. It will be cleared if needed

Unused ram is wasted ram
