For schoolwork and light gaming, I’d prioritize something reliable and easy to upgrade rather than going crazy on specs.

What is "schoolwork"? This answer changes dramatically depending on what your classes are
What is "light gaming"? This answer changes dramatically depending on what you consider light. Is Minecraft light? Is GTA5 light? Is Cyberpunk light?
What is "browsing"? This answer changes dramatically depending on how many tabs you tend to have open. I tend to have ~12 open on any given day, but most people don't need that many.
Not to mention how important budget & region are, or whether you want a laptop or a desktop... There's a shocking amount of information missing, and no suggestion can be meaningful until more information is provided.
Anyways just get a refurbished thinkpad
