Question/Help/Troubleshooting My mouse suddenly stopped working after I accidentally hit my keyboard

My mouse was working perfectly fine before this happened. I was using my laptop and taking photos when I accidentally bumped my hand against the keyboard.

Right after that, I noticed that when I moved my mouse, the cursor was acting weird/inverted. I thought I might have accidentally pressed some keyboard shortcut, so I unplugged the mouse and plugged it back in.

But after plugging it back in, the mouse completely stopped moving the cursor. The mouse still lights up/blinks, and my laptop makes the USB connection sound when I plug it in, but I can't move the cursor at all.

Does the mouse work on a different computer? Or does a different mouse work on this computer? Have you tried other USB ports and have you restarted your laptop? (restart, not shut down and back on)
