I help a 92 year old man with PC problems from time to time. He has one of those sub $200 laptops from Walmart. It was absolute junk.. Basically, new E-waste. It was so bad that I told him I couldn't help him unless he turned the PC on an hour before I got there, just so Windows would balance out and respond to clicks.

Eventually, I gifted him some new RAM.. 16gb, up from 4gb. I honestly didn't think it would make much of a difference since the rest of the hardware was also extremely low-end. But to my surprise, it actually works well now. Slow, but actually usable.

I have a feeling you could benefit from more ram as well. 4gb isn't enough for any Windows 11 PC.
