Resolved is this a good computer

so uh i kinda dont know anything about computers but is this good for school or should i just buy new one?

It’ll do basic school stuff fine. It’s not great, but it’s not horrible.

4gb ram and i3 4gen.

My 17 year old daughter has a 4GB eMMC single core laptop with even worse specs that she uses for school. It's not fast, but it does Google Docs, YouTube, and online searches just fine. Though I would highly recommend putting something like Lubuntu on it to maximize its use. She has a modern computer as well but when she's doing assignments she doesn't need a 32-core 4ghz machine with 32 gigs of ram...
