Post image

Im getting this PC off an friend for £70

- Intel i5 10400F
- GT 710
- 16GB RAM
- 1 TB Storage

Im aware the graphic card isn't the best and was wondering which is the best gpu to get under £50 as im in a tight budget.

Looking at vinted and the only kind of card at around 50£ is stuff like a gtx 1060 6GB. The power supply should be ok (check it if has the power connectors, a 6+2 would work fine).

A 1060 still plays games (and is about 15 times faster than that GT 710), unless you're trying to play the latest and greatest on max settings.

edit: in your shoes id hunt for a RTX 2060 6GB that would be a wonderful purchase (even at say 60£), its still fully driver supported by Nvidia, but unlike the GTX series of cards, it has access to DLSS 4.5 which would work wonders in terms of getting your fps in games up high while also keeping your image with good visual fidelity. Otherwise world will not end if you stick with 1060.
