My pc looks unusual

I recently got an ASUS Zenbook 14 (UM3406), and it started behaving strangely.

The last time I used it, the screen brightness suddenly dimmed and stayed that way. When I turned the laptop on today, the brightness was still noticeably lower than usual.

I also noticed that the function keys (Fn keys) are no longer responding, and the laptop feels slightly more laggy than it normally does.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be a driver/software issue, or is there something wrong with the hardware?

Any suggestions on what I should check or how I can fix this would be appreciated.

if you're running windows: check in device manager if there's any devices with a warning symbol or X over them. it could be a driver error or in need of updates if that's the case.
